Terms.

Effective 19 April 2026 · v1.1

These are the terms for using FastShared — the iOS, iPadOS, and macOS app, the fastsha.red website (including the short-link resolver at fastsha.red/s/<token>), and any related APIs (collectively, "the Service"). The Service is operated by Matheus Kindrazki, an individual developer based in Brazil. In this document, "we", "us", and "our" refer to that operator, and "you" refers to the person using the Service.

Acceptance

By installing, opening, or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply alongside our Privacy policy and any platform-specific rules (App Store, TestFlight) that govern how Apple distributes the app to you.

What the Service does

FastShared is an ephemeral file-sharing utility. You pick a file. You pick how long the link should live, within a configurable window between 5 minutes and 30 days. The Service stores the file in a private bucket and returns a short URL you can paste anywhere. At the end of the window the URL stops working; shortly after, the file is deleted.

The Service does not offer permanent hosting. There is no "keep forever" option. If you need a copy of a file, keep your own copy.

Your account — there isn't one

FastShared does not use accounts. Instead, your device mints a private token on first launch and uses it to authenticate with our API. The token lives in your device's Keychain. Anyone with access to your unlocked device can use FastShared as you. You can revoke the token by deleting the app (from the perspective of the client) or by emailing support@fastsha.red and asking us to invalidate the associated device row.

The recipient of a FastShared link also does not sign in. The link is the credential. Treat it accordingly — do not post it somewhere you would not want the file to be downloaded from.

What you can upload

You can upload any file you have the right to share. You keep ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you grant us the narrow, time-bounded permission to store the file, generate a link to it, and serve downloads until the link expires, and to delete it when the window closes. That's it.

What you cannot upload

You may not use the Service to upload, share, or distribute:

If we become aware that your upload falls into any of these categories — through a report at /report/:token, through a law-enforcement request, or through our own review — we will revoke the link immediately and delete the file. We may also delete your device's token so the same installation cannot continue to use the Service.

Rate limits and abuse

The Service applies rate limits per device, per IP, and per token, to keep it responsive for everyone. Current limits are published in our architecture documentation and may change without notice. When you hit a limit, the API responds with HTTP 429 and a Retry-After header. Attempting to circumvent rate limits, or using multiple devices to amplify a single actor's usage, is a breach of these terms.

Paid subscriptions — FastShared Pro

FastShared offers an optional Pro tier with three purchase options: Pro Monthly (auto-renewing, billed monthly), Pro Annual (auto-renewing, billed yearly), and Pro Lifetime (one-time, non-renewing). All purchases happen through Apple's in-app purchase system; Apple's payment and refund terms govern the transaction.

Auto-renew disclosure

Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period for the next period. You can manage or cancel auto-renew at any time via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling does not refund the current period; your Pro access remains until the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple through apps.apple.com/support or reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly. If Apple grants a refund, Apple notifies us via server-to-server notifications and we revoke the Pro entitlement on the associated devices.

Family Sharing

Pro Lifetime supports Apple Family Sharing — once the Family organiser enables it, up to six family members unlock Pro on their own Apple IDs. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual do not support Family Sharing in this version; each person needs their own active subscription.

Tier caps

Each tier has limits — uploads per day, maximum file size, and maximum link retention. Current limits are published on the pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with at least 30 days notice, published on the pricing page and announced inside the app. Adjustments that are strictly to your benefit (higher caps, longer retention) may take effect without prior notice.

Promotional pricing

The Pro Lifetime Early Access price is time-limited. After the Early Access window closes, Pro Lifetime is sold at its standard price, which will be displayed on the pricing page and in the App Store listing. Purchases completed during the Early Access window remain honoured at the Early Access price with no change to the included features.

No permanent storage

Every upload is ephemeral. When the link expires it returns 410 Gone, and the underlying object is deleted automatically within hours. There is no soft-delete, no grace period you can appeal to, and no way to recover a file after deletion. If a file matters to you, you must keep your own copy.

Service availability

We operate the Service with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be slow, rate-limited, or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, outages at our sub-processors (principally Cloudflare and Neon), or other reasons outside our control. We may discontinue the Service, temporarily or permanently, on reasonable notice — typically 30 days — or without notice in an emergency.

"As is" — no warranty

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses. Our total cumulative liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty Brazilian reais (BRL 50,00). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim or damages arising from content you upload or from your breach of these terms. This is a standard provision; we do not invoke it for ordinary use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced inside the app and dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, stop using the Service; your uploaded files will continue to expire and delete on their original schedule.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of the City of Curitiba, State of Paraná, Brazil, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you the right to sue in your local courts.
